Currently Working on a New CD Project
Daphne Shawn has been working on a new CD project that is sure to get people moving!  This 12 song collection of originals move Daphne back to her R&B roots with a little funk and blues mixed in.  Currently in the studio, Daphne plans to release this song collection in the late summer of 2007.  Get ready!

BMI Musical Theatre Presentation
It's funny how pleasant surprises creep up on you. I worked with a composer this summer on one of his many original compositions that he'd prepared for the BMI Musical Theatre workshop. Well, low and behold, he now wants to present this song to his fellow students along with established composers including Maury Yeston (Titanic, Nine). So of course I said YES. One meeting does not a career make, but networking is a key part of this game. I'll fill you in on the details.
